The space
This space is unique because it is versatile to most guest needs while centrally located to the City of Champions. Whether you're visiting our Universities, catching a show in the Cultural District, coming in for a wedding or a weekend getaway, this space won’t be far! This retreat is comfortably furnished, along with amenities such as cooking supplies and toiletries, soap/shampoo, coffee/tea, towels & linens.

Bedroom ONE includes a Queen-size bed, while the other offers a Bunk bed with a Full-size on the bottom and a twin on top. A sixth guest is welcome to sleep on the sofa, extra bedding provided upon request. This unit has Central Air and heat, as well as WiFi and a small TV including a Roku with Netflix, Hulu, HBO, etc. The TV can also be connected to your laptop via a provided HDMI cord.

PLEASE NOTE: This is an older apartment building, though I do my best to keep the space updated, the building overall needs some work. This building is shared with other rentals and annual tenants so please understand there is a potential for noise from the other guests in the hallway and potentially from the bedroom windows as they face Forbes Avenue which can be a moderately busy street.
Guest access
Guest will have access to all of the apartment
Additional notes
This apartment is in a building with 3 other apartments, all the residents of this building are very kind and understanding of the Airbnb process but please be respectful of fellow residents and guests by keeping the noise to a minimum during evening hours.
Guest interaction
I am as available as you need me; our level of interaction is up to you.
Neighborhood overview
The neighborhood of Uptown sits just outside of the city on the South end just a bridge away from South Side. Uptown is an up-and-coming neighborhood as the city is rapidly developing in our direction towards Oakland. This space sits just outside of the city lines enough that it is generally more quiet at night, though close enough that most places you want to go are either within walking distance or super accessible via Lyft/car ride. Great restaurant just opened up downstairs -Uptown Kitchen - their omelets are to die for! Though this place is very central to all things Pittsburgh, it's not in the center of all the action. For those curious about safety, it has never been a concern of mine.
Getting around
We are a close Uber drive to anywhere in the city. Walking distance to Duquesne, Downtown, UPMC, and PPG
